OIC investee company SpyBiotech, which is developing a novel vaccine platform technology targeting infectious diseases, cancer and chronic diseases, has appointed Dan Menichella as an independent, non-executive director and Norman Begg as a scientific advisor.

We’re excited to announce the launch of the first 2021 round of the Oxford Technology and Innovations EIS Fund (OTIF) advised by us and managed by Thompson Taraz!

• SpyBiotech Ltd is developing a novel “plug and play” vaccine platform technology targeting infectious diseases, cancer and chronic diseases.
• OTIF’s investment was advised by Oxford Investment Consultants LLP and was part of a $32.5m round led by Braavos Investment Advisers.
• Lutz B. Giebel joins as Chair, strengthening governance as company expands clinical development and builds operational resource.

• OTIF’s investment was advised by Oxford Investment Consultants LLP and was part of a £10.5m round led by Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co., Ltd. (ANDI) of the MS&AD Insurance Group (TYO: 8725).
• This is the third OTIF investment in Mind Foundry Ltd to date, bringing total funds invested by OTIF in the Company to £1.2m.
