NiTech Solutions was spun out of Edinburgh’s Heriot Watt University in 2003 and has developed the world’s first continuous flow tubular baffle reactor for use in chemical and biotech manufacturing.
The Company has an exclusive license on patents from the lab of Professor Xiongwei Ni covering the core technology. NiTech’s reactors offer much greater efficiency of output than incumbent batch reactors. By controlling all aspects of processing, from volume and heat to reagent dosing, the devices have been proven to increase production yields, reduce consumable usage and increase productivity. The Company has made sales and signed commercial licenses with major industry players in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and fine chemical manufacturing industries.
